Mansfield District Council has received confirmation that a temporary Mobile Covid-19 Testing Unit (MTU) will be located in the town centre from Monday, 31 May until Sunday, 6 June.
The MTU will set up in the council’s Grove Street car park (NG18 1EL), near to Nottingham Road, and will be open daily from 9am to 3pm.
Anyone with Covid symptoms should self-isolate and book a PCR test on the Government website www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-
Community testing for people without symptoms continues to be provided at Mansfield Town Football Club and the Palace Theatre. Everyone is encouraged to have twice-weekly testing, even after being vaccinated, to help stop the spread of coronavirus in Mansfield. The community testing centres offer assisted testing and community collect.
