MANSFIELD TOWN defender George Pilkington has extended his loan spell with Skrill Premier club Macclesfield Town until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old has made four appearances since joining John Askey’s team on loan in February, and scored on his debut in a 3-2 defeat at Woking.
The centre-back was also on target in Macclesfield’s 2-1 victory away at Hereford United on Tuesday, 25 February.
Having now extended his loan at Moss Rose, Pilkington could feature for Macclesfield tomorrow night in their clash with fellow play-off hopefuls Kidderminster Harriers.
The Silkmen are nine points adrift of the play-off places in the Skrill Premier, but have three games in hand over fifth-placed Nuneaton Town.
