Residents in Mansfield are being offered support to get to their Covid-19 vaccination appointments thanks to the Community Champions Scheme.

Mansfield District Council has been awarded funding to help support the district during the coronavirus pandemic by working with local organisations to spread safe messages.

Mansfield CVS is leading the project, alongside key community organisations.

A spokesman said:”People living within the Mansfield district who have a Covid-19 vaccination appointment booked in April or May can access help to get to their vaccine site via our community transport partners CT4N and Our Centre.”
