The Mansfield and District U3A branch says it is happy to hear from anyone who is interested in joining.

The U3A slogan is Learn, Laugh and Live and it said it “offers members in their third age opportunities to do just that”.

During the last year and throughout coronavirus lockdown members have kept in contact with one another through Zoom and want people to know that the group is open to anyone wishing to find new ways to occupy their spare time.

A spokesman said: “In normal circumstances, our groups cover a whole range of activities. We will be happy to hear from anyone who is interested in joining us.
