X-Press Legal Services, a property search company that provide reports to solicitors and conveyancers across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, has donated to two different charities for Christmas, hoping to bring some festive cheer this year.

X-Press would normally gift clients with treats and presents during the festive period. Knowing what a difficult year this has been for so many, the owner of X-Press, Ben Wheeler, made the change to give back to the local community and those in need this Christmas.

Chesterfield Food Bank, the charity nominated by Anderson Partnership Solicitors in Chesterfield, helps people in the local area who are struggling by providing parcels with supplies of food, drink and basic necessities. Ben and his wife Karen are hoping to help those in need by donating a food parcel and £100 this Christmas.

Action for Children is a nationwide charity that protects and supports children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. They ensure young people’s voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting improvements to their lives. X-Press is hoping that its monetary donation of £100 will help the charity continue its good workK. This charity was nominated by Smith Partnership Solicitors in Derby.

Ben commented: “Although we have been fortunate enough to carry on with business as usual this year, as have our clients, we know the pandemic has presented a difficult and uncertain time for many. We were happy to be able to donate to both Chesterfield Food Bank and Action for Children this year, who both do great work in helping people in need, especially across the Christmas period.”
