Funding boost for Oak Tree Primary School

Posted onPosted on 13th Aug

Oak Tree Primary School, Mansfield, is to benefit from a £83,780.44 Government investment to improve school facilities.

It is among schools that have been allocated a share of £560m Government money to expand classrooms and upgrade facilities.

The funding was announced by the Prime Minister in the summer month as part of a New Deal for Britain to help the nation bounce back from coronavirus.

Mansfield MP Ben Bradley said: “As we exit lockdown we must focus on getting children back to school — and ensure that schools have the facilities and classrooms they need to support the high-quality education our children deserve.

“This funding will help ensure all children have modern environments, which will promote the very best possible schools and education, enabling them to gain all the knowledge and skills they need for success.”
