Award-winning Mansfield estate agent BuckleyBrown has donated £1,100 to a foodbank to help the organisation maintain supplies to those in need.

Community-minded staff at BuckleyBrown, based on Leeming Street, donated £100 of the selling fee for any new listing obtained during May to the Sherwood Forest Foodbank.

Located at the Stable Centre, on Church Street, Mansfield Woodhouse, the foodbank helps people with a variety of items, such as food and personal products.

Co-director of the estate agent, Jon Brown, said: “On behalf of all the team at BuckleyBrown, I’d like to say how delighted I am to be able to present a cheque to the foodbank, which does so much to support those in need.”

Keith Hadfield, project manager at the food bank, which is part of The Trussell Trust network, said: “This food bank has had unbelievable tremendous support from the community and donations such as this from BuckleyBrown will go a long way to helping us to continue to provide such an important service.”
