Saying thank you to the NHS

Posted onPosted on 15th Apr

NHS staff at Langwith Medical Centre were gifted a selection of treats and hygiene products from construction giant Stepnell to help lift spirits during the Covid-19 crisis.

The company’s East Midlands office showed its support and appreciation for the NHS by delivering a selection of cleaning products, disposable gloves, biscuits, Easter eggs, tea and coffee to say thanks to the key workers for their efforts on the coronavirus frontline.

Tom Sewell, regional director at Stepnell, said: “As a company, we think it’s important that we give something back to our local community and support NHS staff, who are putting their lives at risk to protect the rest of the country during these challenging times.”

Stepnell completed construction of the new, state-of-the-art medical centre in 2019, providing patients with access to modern facilities and a wider range of services.

Tom added: “We also want to make sure we continue to support our clients, past and present.”

Rachael Carter, practice manager at the medical centre, said: “The practice is currently extremely busy and unpredictable, so our staff have been working extra hard to keep things ticking over. We’re very grateful for the donations.”
