Mansfield Town has apologised to season ticket holders who were delayed entry into One Call Stadium when their season ticket cards were affected by a fault in the turnstile reader.

A statement from the club said: “The club was first alerted to the problem after the first home match against Oxford United.

“After making immediate contact with the relevant companies, the club was informed by sub-contractors that a solution was sought and subsequently applied.

“To the source of much frustration, this turned out not to be fully effective, following a communication fault between two separate systems.

“As a consequence, season ticket holders, whose cards were affected by the issue, were asked to return them to the club’s ticket office. New ticket cards have now been re-printed and any previous errors have now been resolved.

“Season ticket holders can now collect their cards from the One Call Stadium ticket office, or, if more convenient, can receive them via post. Postal deliveries can be set up by contacting the club on 01623 482 482.

“The club again wishes to apologise to season ticket holders, whose patience, understanding and loyalty, is deeply appreciated.”
