Coronavirus: Businesses with 3D printing urged to help make face visors for King’s Mill Hospital staff

Businesses across Mansfield and Ashfield have been urged to help an appeal from King’s Mill Hospital to make face visors for nurses, doctors and other NHS staff on the frontline in the fight against coronavirus.

Firms with 3D printing capabilities have been asked to adapt their technology to make the specialised PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the Sutton hospital.

There are examples of businesses and individuals across the UK pictured above) and further afield who have adapted their 3D printing to make the visors/shields, using acetate sheets.
