Mansfield-based agency CCM group, which specialises in print, creative, marketing and office supplies, raised more than £300 for The Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity on Friday as part of an online quiz series – and is planning another fundraising quiz this week.

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, CCM Group launched a series of fun and interactive free online quizzes in a bid to spread positivity amongst the nation during the lockdown.

Within a week of launching, CCM’s online quiz series has already seen hundreds of households participating through its YouTube channel and myQuiz.

CCM partnered with the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, which supports Sheffield Children’s Hospital, last Friday, 3rd April, in the hope to use its platform to help raise awareness and vital funds for the charity during an uncertain time.

Trent Peek, managing director at CCM, explained: “CCM’s Local Heroes Quiz was a huge success, seeing over 200 households join in from across the nation. It was fantastic to see so many people coming together during a very tough time to show their support and appreciation for the charity and the amazing work the hospital does.”

Sophie Coburn, corporate partnerships officer at the charity, added, “We cannot thank CCM enough for their help. We saw a surge in text donations as well as via our JustGiving page on the evening of the quiz totalling over £300, which we are so grateful for.

“CCM’s support and the kind donations received will help make Sheffield Children’s Hospital even better, by creating an environment built with children in mind. With the help from companies like CCM, we are able to fund new facilities, vital research, specialist equipment and a comfortable, engaging setting to help thousands of children from across the UK and beyond.”

CCM will continue its online quiz series for households across the nation to enjoy over the coming weeks. The next in the series, ‘Lights, Camera, Answer!’, is taking place on Friday, 10th April, at 8pm and will take everyone back to the movies, including popular themes such as Disney, Harry Potter and musicals.

The quiz can be played virtually via myQuiz and will be hosted by a guest Quiz Master through CCM’s YouTube livestream. Full event details can be found on CCM’s Facebook event page.
