Following the overwhelming success of two workshops in its ‘Six Week Summer Saturdays’ campaign, Idlewells Shopping Centre has announced an extension of its free loom schools until 6th September.
The latest craze of creating bracelets, characters, keyrings, gloves, and bags out of little rubber bands, seems to be going from strength to strength, prompting Idlewells retailer The Glitz Stand to further invest in the latest accessories, bands and tools – and the UK’s first pick & mix-style sales point.
“We are delighted that we can offer these popular workshops to our customers for free,” said Chloe O’Donnell, assistant manager at the Idlewells.
“The Glitz team has done a fantastic job of establishing itself as one of the area’s most innovative suppliers. As well as providing all of the bands for free, they’ve laid on a team of instructors each Saturday to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to learn or improve.”
The Loom School tables are out and ready for free use throughout the week too, with visitors invited to pop in and have a go.
To book your Saturday slot with an instructor, go to The Glitz Stand Facebook page or call in to the Loom School, located near to Greggs in Idlewells, Monday to Saturday 10am–4pm.
