There is just a short time remaining for young people to sign up to two summer schools related to dance and music in Nottinghamshire.
County Youth Arts at Nottinghamshire County Council is holding two summer schools during August at The Old Library in Leeming Street, Mansfield.
The Summer Rock and Pop School will run from Monday, 4th August to Friday, 8th August from 10am–4pm and is free to participants.
Participants will work with industry professionals and learn how to produce top tunes, record them in the state of the art recording studio and perform them live to an audience of friends and family on the Friday.
And the Summer Drama School will run from Monday, 11th August to Friday, 15th August from 10am–4pm and is free to participants and will interest young people who want to develop their skills in drama, acting, dialogue, media and media studies.
You need to be aged 13-19 years and live in Nottinghamshire. You will need to be available for the whole week but if there is a day that you are not available for unavoidable reasons explain the reasons why and County Youth Arts may consider you for a place.
In relation to the drama summer school, complete an enrolment form available from www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/countyyoutharts or [email protected] and return to County Youth Arts by Friday, 8th August.
If you have any questions or need any help filling in the enrolment form please contact us on 01623 644377. County Youth Arts will contact young people to confirm their place on the summer school.
