Kirkby swim ace Ollie Hynd became the first swimmer to be Paralympic, World, European and Commonwealth champion at the same time when he won the SM8 200m individual medley final at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Monday evening.

Hynd destroyed the field to win by more than eight seconds in 2.22.86 ahead of Australia’s Jesse Aungles.
