A care assistant at HC-One’s Berry Hill Park care home in Mansfield has received a Kindness in Care Award after being nominated by a resident at the home.

Jean Lowe put forward care assistant Hayley Ward for a Kindness in Care Award for her kind and caring nature.

Jean said: “Hayley has always been very caring and reliable. She has offered her understanding and support to me in a way that was invaluable.”

Jean presented Hayley with her certificate in recognition of her kindness and hard work.

The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013. It recognises the efforts of their kindest colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.
