AGE Concern Mansfield is appealing for volunteers to help its work.

It runs three day centres, catering for our elderly in the community, and a local friendship club in the area.

The three centres are situated on Champion Crescent, off Westfield Lane; Selwyn Street, off Southwell Road, Mansfield; and Dundee Drive, Mansfield Woodhouse.

The friendship club serves light refreshments and is situated behind the Old Meeting House, at the side of the B&M store in Mansfield.

The centres prepare meals, host bingo, hold raffles and take occasional trips out.
