A charity has thanked the generosity of the Nottingham Building Society in Mansfield, a member of its staff and her friends and colleagues.
Bella Zygmunt, a volunteer with Jigsaw Support Scheme, decided to raise money for the cause by asking people to make donations instead of buying presents for her birthday.
She raised £55 and The Nottingham kindly doubled the amount.
Bella is pictured presenting a cheque for £100 to Alison Waring, chief executive of Jigsaw Support Scheme Mansfield, and its chair, Amanda Wooley.
Alison said: “Thank you to Bella and to The Nottingham for their generosity.”
Mansfield-based Jigsaw has a wide range of services to help people with mental health problems and to help keep them independent at home.
