Pinders Opticians, which has practices in Mansfield, Warsop and Ollerton as well as Southwell, is to support the Alzheimer’s Society throughout 2019.

Last year the company’s practices raised more than £3,000 for Reach Learning Disability through a range of events, including a book sale, raffle and a fashion show.

“We are delighted to announce that the Alzheimer’s Society is our Charity of the Year. They are an organisation that carry out some incredible work, making a huge difference in the lives of many people affected by dementia in the UK,” said Peter Herniman, director at Pinders Opticians.

“We have some exciting fundraising ideas already lined up and we are looking forward to raising awareness for the charity, raising as much money as possible and having a bit of fun at the same time!”
