Angling Direct has opened a new flagship store in Sutton.

At an opening event, more than 100 shoppers queued outside its new home on Forest Street.

Leader of Ashfield District Council, Coun Jason Zadrozny, said: “It’s fantastic that a well-established business such as Angling Direct has chosen Ashfield to host its flagship store.”

Store manager Rob Kerry added: “To see so many people queuing up the street at 8am on a Saturday morning was a great feeling.
