Mansfield Building Society has received national and local recognition for its products, service and community work with a trio of awards.

It won the platinum award for customer service at the Mansfield Town Centre Customer Service Awards organised by Mansfield BID, and was highly commended by Mortgage Finance Gazette for its community work.

The award recognised the commitment made by the society through volunteering and a legacy of giving through its Community Support Scheme and The Mansfield Building Society’s Charitable Trust. In 2018, the trust donated or pledged a total of £62,500 to three organisations that provide long-lasting development and value to the community — Portland College is set to benefit from £42,500 for a woodland adventure trail and £10,000 has been awarded to both R.E.A.L. Education and The Inspire and Achieve Foundation to respectively operate a mobile classroom and a Prince’s Trust programme.

The Mansfield also won Best Junior ISA in The Money Pages Personal Finance Awards.
