Mansfield Lifesaving Club presented 60 pairs of armbands to Sutton Road Primary School, Mansfield, after setting up a local community fund.

Club members took part in a sponsored event during Drowning Prevention Week 2018, raising £477.50.

The money will be used to help local projects with water safety equipment, including the armbands for Sutton Road Primary.

The club said it was looking for projects to support with around £300 from its community fund.
