Proskins backs Mansfield 10k

Posted onPosted on 7th Sep

Mansfield Woodhouse sports clothing company Proskins has joined the list of sponsors for the Mansfield 10k on Friday, 15th September.

Director Jason Robinson, a former England rugby star, is running the race in aid of the #adollarfordawson campaign to send Sutton boy Dawson Willcock, who is fighting a rare liver cance, to the US for treatment.

The Mansfield 10k has been organised by Reach Learning Disability and events management Perfect Motion in aid of Reach’s work supporting people with learning disabilities in Nottinghamshire.

Jason said: “Dawson’s family have been a loyal and valued customer of ours, so the team here at Proskins want to raise awareness and money to help Dawson get the treatment he needs.”

The event is also sponsored by McDonald’s, Slimming World, The Nottingham, Full Phat Design and Virtual Runner, and is organised in partnership with Mansfield District Council.

Sarah Cobb, from Reach, said: “We very are excited to welcome our final sponsor and to be working with Proskins. We hope that our partnership encourages more runners to take part and so raises much-needed funds for two local causes.”

Online registration for the event will be open until Friday, 15th September, at www.mansfield10k.co.uk
