Teachers-UK surprised two Meden School students with a Mansfield Town Football Club signed football and T-shirt during the Warsop school’s annual awards evening.

Students were rewarded for their attitude to learning and achievements across many subjects and disciplines, at the event at the John Fretwell Centre, Sookholme.

Special guests on the night were Stags players Jamie McGuire and Rhys Bennett, who presented the awards.

Sandra Mayfield, of Teachers-UK, an education recruitment specialist based at Mansfield’s I-Centre, said they were delighted to play a role in the evening.

“Teachers UK was proud to sponsor Meden School Awards Evening 2016,” she said. “It highlighted the talents and overall performance and achievements of Meden students.

“It was a pleasure for us to provide two first-team Mansfield Town players as VIP guests, who assisted the head in presenting awards to students.”
