The new chief executive at The Evolve Trust, which runs academies in Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse, has introduced The Extra Mile Award to thank staff who go beyond the call of duty.

Each week headteachers nominate one member and Claire-Marie Cuthbert chooses the winner, going to the school to present them with a certificate and flowers.

The first winners included Jennifer Bishop, data and exams leader at The Brunts Academy; Ann Sinclair, office manager at The Bramble Academy; and Georgia Sergeant, learning assistant at The Beech Academy.
