Mansfield Building Society’s Community Support Scheme gave £300 to the Detached Youth Project at Rainworth, which provides youth club sessions and play schemes for disadvantaged children aged 5-18.

Apprenticeships for young people and volunteering opportunities were also available.

Jodie Hoggard, of the project, said: “The funds enabled us to update our sports, arts and crafts equipment.”
