There was fun and healthy competition in equal measure when Four Seasons Shopping Centre, Mansfield, hosted Father’s Day activities.

For one day only, the centre opened a special Dads’ Lounge — with settees to give dads the chance to relax and take a break — and hosted a driving challenge.

“As well as offering a place to unwind, we invited driving-mad dads and shoppers to climb inside our inflatable racing car and take part in our Grand Prix challenge,” said Rebekah O’Neill, centre manager at Four Seasons.

“Our free Buzzy B Club was running at the same time, so children joined our mascot Buzz and made cards and decorated a cupcake for that special person in their life.”

Winner Ryan Jessop, (18), pictured, clocked the fastest time on the day at 1min 4.2seconds and took home a prize pack, which included a trophy, a remote-controlled car and a family driving experience.
