Helen Heywood and Sarah Halvey from the Blidworth Co-op have presented each Cornwater Club art class member with a portfolio case.

The cases were bought through the Co-op’s Community Fund.

Helen and her team are regular visitors to the club, having previously offered their support through donations of raffle prizes and groceries.

“We wanted to support and become involved with local charities like the Cornwater Club, which does so much within our community,” she said.

“We wanted to recognise the club’s efforts as it improves its members’ lives, some of whom are also regular customers of ours.”

The art classes, taught by Mark Cawood, are popular and members are due to exhibit their work in Mansfield Library this month.
