Ken Gregory & Sons Funeral Directors has temporarily closed its Mansfield base for refurbishment work, including a new service chapel.

It will reopen later this year and is continuing to operate from the branch in Sutton.

Business leader Hayley Johnson said: “Our entire premises will benefit from a redecoration, new lighting, and new furniture, which will create a welcoming reception area and arrangement rooms.

“A new service chapel will be constructed that will facilitate funeral services in the future.

“This investment will bring our premises up to date and will allow us to continue providing a high-quality service to our customers.

“The team will continue to operate from the Sutton branch.”
