Annesley-based procurement consortium EEM Ltd hosted the Building Communities in the East Midlands (BCEM) Awards.
The not-for-profit organisation works with 55 housing providers and public sector bodies to help make efficiency savings on services and materials for its members across the country.
EEM and other sponsors donated raffle and auction prizes, raising a £20,000 for EEM’s chosen charity, Little Hearts Matter. Further donations of £500 were donated later.
Among the winners at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, were Edwinstowe-based construction firm Woodhead, which scooped three awards.
It was successful in the collaborative working section for its work with A1 Housing and Bassetlaw District Council, in the innovation section, and was won project of the year for rethinking housing delivery.
Almost 400 representatives from the housing and construction sectors attended.
EEM chief executive Pete Smith said: “Last year’s inaugural event was a fantastic way to celebrate the work done by housing organisations and construction firms across the region.
“The event was a huge success and all the winners and runners-up were a glowing example of what can be achieved in the communities we work in.
“Myself and the judges were overwhelmed at the quality of the entries we received.
“I would like to pass on my thanks to all those in the EEM supply chain who donated raffle and auction prizes, as well as those who made their own donations and helped us reach such a fantastic fundraising total. I’m immensely proud of what we achieved this year.”
