Oak Tree Primary School, Mansfield, celebrated 19 children achieving 100% attendance.

The school held a party. The children were treated to cakes and party food, and entertained by a magician.

Head Mrs Sarah Moore said: “It is vital that children come to school every day so they can learn. We have a beautiful school and these 19 children have made a sterling effort to come everyday.

“They are an inspiration to all our other children. We wanted to show them that they are truly awesome, by holding a special party for them.

“Our attendance has improved considerably over the last two years. I’m proud of our children and school. It has been a brilliant end to a brilliant year.”
